In order to qualify, you must be a homeowner and :

• Provide proof of ownership by providing a property tax bill
• The property must be your primary residence. Utility bills may be requested
• Eligible properties... Single & semi detached houses, row houses, townhomes and all season cottages .
• Only one homeowner per property can apply for the rebate

At Creature Comforts our Home Comfort Specialists are fully trained to provide the most efficient options to maximize your contact us today and we can coordinate a pre-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation with one of our preferred registered energy advisors. 

Once the pre evaluation is completed you will receive an information package indicating the efficiencies of your property. From here we can prepare the best way to utilize the Grant money by completing at least one eligible upgrade. 

Eligible Upgrades Include:

• Insulation (up to $5,000): Keep the energy in your home by increasing insulation values.
• Air Sealing (up to $1,000): Reduce air leakage within your homes building envelope. 
• Windows and doors (up to $5,000): Replace windows and doors with registered ENERY STAR products.
• Thermostats (up to $50): Lower your energy bill by upgrading to a smart thermostat.
• Heating (up to $5,000/$6,500 Enbridge Customer): Install qualifying cold climate heat pumps and/or heat pump water heaters.
• Renewable Energy (up to $5,000): Consider adding solar panels to convert the sunlight into useful energy.
• Resiliency Measures (up to $2,625): Protect your home from environmental dangers like fires, floods, foundation waterproofing, roofing membranes and batteries connected to solar cell systems.

We work closely with manufacturers to offer additional product rebates. Along with our own promotional rebates you can save up to $10,000 utilizing all programs. 

Following the equipment installation and all other qualifying upgrades the registered energy advisor will return for your post-retrofit EnerGuide evaluation. Once all upgrades have been submitted and recorded your home will be awarded a new EnerGuide Label indicating your homes new energy efficiency. 

Then, receive your cheque in the mail for the agreed upon Grant total with your Registered Energy Advisor and enjoy.
